GGRC Armenia has opened in Yerevan!

One of Georgia’s leading reproductive centers, which has been successfully helping families fulfill their dreams of parenthood for years, is opening a new branch in Yerevan. This is a significant step not only for the clinic’s expansion but also for the advancement of reproductive medicine in the region.

The new branch will be equipped with the latest technologies and will focus on in vitro fertilization (IVF), diagnostics, infertility treatment, and strengthening reproductive health. The clinic’s team of professionals, already distinguished by extensive experience, will offer world-class medical services to the residents of Yerevan.

The opening of this new branch will not only deepen Georgian-Armenian medical relations but will also create new opportunities for reproductive health across the entire region.

-GGRC Armenia has already welcomed its first patients. Congratulations! Tell us how the idea to open a branch in Armenia came about. Why did you choose this market, and what positive impact do you expect this step to have on both the Georgian and Armenian branches?

GGRC – the Georgian-German Reproductive Center – was established in Georgia as an international-class clinic, with the initial vision of expanding its reproductive medical services worldwide. At this stage, GGRC’s primary mission is to make high-quality reproductive healthcare as accessible as possible within the region. Our experience in Georgia has shown that the demand for quality medical services knows no borders. Armenia naturally became our next step, as there is a growing demand for innovative reproductive treatments in the local market.

By opening our branch in Yerevan, we are further strengthening GGRC’s presence in the region. With this move, we are expanding our network, reinforcing a culture of shared expertise, and striving to create more efficient and faster services for our patients. At the same time, strengthening collaboration will allow us to successfully implement innovative methods in both countries.

-What new technologies has GGRC introduced to the Armenian market?

The main goal of GGRC Armenia is to increase accessibility to innovative reproductive technologies. Some of the advanced methods we offer include:

  • Time-lapse embryoscope – An innovative incubation method that allows continuous 24/7 monitoring of embryo development, helping to select the best embryo for implantation.
  • Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) – Genetic screening of embryos that increases the likelihood of a healthy pregnancy and reduces the risk of genetic disorders.
  • Egg and Sperm Freezing (Cryopreservation) – The freezing of biological material, enabling couples to preserve their reproductive health for the future.
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration in IVF – A pioneering innovation in the region, where AI systems are integrated into all stages of the IVF process.

We can confidently say that we are shaping the future of reproductive medicine by seamlessly combining decades of clinical expertise with cutting-edge AI technology. Our mission is to turn uncertainty into hope and offer couples the most advanced, personalized, and scientifically proven infertility treatments.

We believe the future of IVF lies at the intersection of human expertise and the latest technologies. With these innovations, GGRC Armenia is setting new standards in the Armenian market.

-How was GGRC received in Armenia? Have you gained the trust of the local community?

Trust and partnerships are crucial in any endeavor. We connected with the country’s leading medical center and an excellent physician, Dr.Armine Arutunian , whose involvement helped accelerate the opening of the clinic. We found ourselves surrounded by highly skilled professionals who are also incredibly welcoming and dedicated.

As a result, GGRC Armenia was very positively received in Armenia. From the very first day, we felt a high level of interest and trust from the local community. This trust is partly due to GGRC’s established reputation in the region and the success of our treatments in Georgia.

The introduction of cutting-edge technologies, internationally recognized treatment methods, and our highly qualified medical team played a key role in gaining the confidence of our Armenian patients.

-Tell us about the medical and scientific conference held on March 9.

Scientific activities, seminars, conferences, and workshops are an essential part of our identity. These events contribute to the growth and strengthening of our team, and the same will be true in Armenia.

GGRC Armenia is not only solidifying its presence in the Armenian market through modern reproductive services but is also actively contributing to the development of the medical community. Our first joint scientific-medical conference, hosted by GGRC Armenia, brought together leading specialists from across the region. They discussed the latest advancements in reproductive medicine, innovative technologies, and future prospects for infertility treatment.

This conference represents a significant step toward deepening collaboration between local and international professionals, ultimately improving patient care quality.

GGRC Armenia’s goal is not only to offer advanced treatments but also to support medical education in the region, further advancing reproductive medicine.

-Let’s continue discussing new technologies using the Georgian branch as an example. GGRC has implemented AI technologies in its IVF center. How does this technology simplify operations, and what benefits does it offer?

This question has already been answered above.

-In one of your interviews, I read that there was also interest in expanding GGRC to the Chinese market. What are your plans and objectives in this regard?

Yes, GGRC’s strategic objectives include expanding into international markets. China, as one of the world’s most dynamic and rapidly growing markets, is of great interest to us. We are considering the possibility of opening a GGRC branch in China to provide our high-standard medical services to a larger number of patients.

Our plans in this direction involve conducting market research, finding suitable partners, and developing a localization strategy to better meet the needs of Chinese patients.

There is already a high demand for reproductive services from Chinese patients in Georgia. As a result, China is a particularly attractive market for us. However, our priority remains maintaining the highest clinical standards as we expand internationally.

-What are your future plans for both Georgia and Armenia?

GGRC’s mission is to make high-quality reproductive healthcare accessible in Georgia and throughout the region. The newly opened branch in Armenia is an important part of our international expansion strategy. Our goal in Armenia is for our clinic to become one of the most trusted and advanced medical institutions, incorporating modern technologies and highly qualified specialists.

We plan to share our experience from Georgia with Armenia and establish an internal funding program to assist couples facing infertility, making our services more accessible.

In Georgia, we plan to strengthen existing infrastructure, introduce new services, and ensure even greater accessibility for patients. Additionally, our future plans include developing medical tourism in both Armenia and Georgia to attract more international patients.

Our top priorities remain quality and patient satisfaction, giving us the confidence and ambition to provide world-class reproductive medical services.
